This cue was made in 1987~1988 at Don Lee's. The is the only 8 ivory pts DPK I have ever seen. There is another 6 ivory pts DPK at Dr. Wu's website.

I believe I remember seeing this cue back when John Wright used to mail out photographs of the cues he had for sale. Very nice cue!

> It's been a LONG time since I saw that exact cue, back when I first starting getting out and going to tournaments in Memphis this cue belonged to Alex Brick. He also had a plain mega-birdseye Southwest and a cocobolo Kersenbrock with curly points and green veneers. If I am not mistaken,he told me he sold that ivory cue for 1800,just about the time he showed me his very first sneaky pete,so perhaps he sold the cue to finance his shop. The conversation took place at Players, which is owned off and on by Adam Orr and the location of Alex's first shop. In fact,it has only been a few days since I thought about that cue,it is very unique and hit GREAT. Tommy D.

Thanks for the inputs. I purchased this cue from a friend in Japan and I have not idea about its history. It's good to know where this cue's from. Gotta give Adam a buzz to have a chat. Maybe I could dig out more stories about this cue.

WOWzers....that's some pretty maple....:D

I bet it took some searching to find that highly figured maple...
