Here's a cue I acquired recently. It's a 1995 Skip Weston. It is in great shape. I don't intend to sell. I'm just curious to know what I have. I was told it retailed for $3k when new.

That is as nice a Skip Weston as I have seen.
His cues certainly play well, and this one takes the overall
ownership experience to a whole new level.

I do not clearly know how to appraise this cue at this time, but
have to say you have a wonderful cue.

Thanks, Will. I finally played with it tonight. It plays as good as it looks. I got some jaw-dropping action with it. I really like this cue.

That's such a shame too Will. The "crowd", over the years, has not had the opportunity to experience some of the great makers that have contributed in such a big way. Skip is one of those makers. His cues were expertly crafted and it's just a crime that his work can not be immediately and accurately appraised. His work "up'd" the level on some fronts and deserves to be recognized.

Here are a few cues.. on the traditional cue he used bloodwood for the red in the prongs, so its ebony/bloodwood/ebony/holly. Interesting that he did the diamond array close enough to see the slots line up diamond to diamond.
