Just saw a 25 minute narration of how the movie was made; something I never saw before, but very interesting.....thought some of you AZers who liked the movie might like to see this. I discovered it on the sidebar while watching the
Joe Rogan channeling of Earl Strickland on TAR, shown on Youtube.... (very funny too)... You might also get it by going on Youtube and typing in "The Hustler: The Inside Story (2002).

By-the-way, a lot of people don't know this, but Piper Laurie, who played Sarah Packard, Fast Eddies gimpy girlfriend, was actually struck in the knee by an errant cue ball that had jumped off the table during filming, causing her to limp for the remainder of the shoot.
I'm almost sure it's true. :smile:

Interesting. I've been wanting to see it again. Specially since Monday I learned a friend of ours was a stand in. :thumbup:
