Take the following 16 players:

Pin-Yi
Francisco
Alex
Shane
Mika
Lee-Van
Johny
Ralf
Karl
Dennis O.
Darren
Niels
Thorsten
Ching-Shun
Chia-Ching

Imagine they show up for a $1,000,000 winner take all tournament where they have to play round robin format and where you get points based on your standing after each event 1st gets 16 points last gets 1 point: they have to play the following events:

10 Ball (call pocket no fluke) race to 17
Straigh pool race to 200
1 pocket 5 ahead
Snooker best of 17
Bar box 8-ball race to 25

To me that would be a wicked event (it would take forever) if you know pool and pool players, rack you brains, who do you think wins the title of best of the best? why?

Snooker and one pocket will hurt alot of the players on that list as the majority are rotation game players. I think it would be an awesome event although very doubtful to happen. I would love to say SVB would win that but, he wouldn't. Alex would win that by a pretty good margin.

I'd probably pick Alex too, although I think Ralf would be tough. If we throw in Efren in his prime I think we have a winner!

The main reason I would have to pick Alex is he has experience in all these games except maybe bb 8 ball. If Ralph played one pocket or snooker close to Alex's level he would probably be my pick as well but as far as I know he doesn't. One pocket would be a big downfall for the european and tawain players in this tourney.

I agree that Efren in his prime would be unstoppable in this contest, but why'd you think the current Efren wouldn't win? Throw in 3-cushion carom and the win would be a lock for Efren. Especially considering the prize money. ;-)
