BCA pool league has just announced the implementation of FargoRate. I'd like to know how a player gets a rating based on the BCApl 8 ball format.

Our regional bca page suggests that anyone above an apa 5 is started as a regional A. If that's the case, having a fargo rating above 400 will do it. Aside from that, there are fairly large variations between some similarly ranked players, although with robustness of about 200 and under. If they implemented a tournament handicap up here based on that, i don't think it would go over well. Maybe it would be different if you calculated league night in there, but then you're going the way of apa problems.

If you want to stay below radar, then just don't play any tournaments with the exception of weeklies.
