FargoRate Alex Pagulayan

Loving what is going on with Fargorate... As a fan of the Accu-Stats TPA and understanding the importance of statistics for establishing who the real professional players are I can't wait until it is nationwide...

Not only can it be used to handicap it can also be used as a benchmark...

The Big Foot Challenge that is done in Derby City Every year tries to invite and include the best 16 players that want to play... Now Jay doesn't have to guess so much and has an established system to decide which 16 can get in....

I doubt Mike ever releases how the algorithm works but I would have to think that as a players rating drops that the players who beat him/her would have to take a hit as well... As players start to step away which happens they will end up falling in rankings or their Fargorate number will become stale....

I would love to use it at the US Open this year on the TV table if we can get something worked out with Mike/Mark.... I enjoyed watching it in use at I think the Swanee where the percentages were on the screen for every match... Oscar beat Rodney in the finals? Coming back from pretty much drawing dead.......

Using some combination of Gideon's gut and the matches he played in the Canadian 8-Ball and 9-Ball championships over the last few days,

Alex Pagulayan is now in the world top 10

Nice to be part of the algorithm.

Given the size of my gut, it should be a big part.

By the way, there is a free (if silent) live stream of the Canadians at www.cbsa.ca - today is the last day of the 10 ball. Tables have big pockets and when Alex hits them so clean they look HUGE.
