Apparently I don't play well for food! 
I was thinking about going down to a local tournament tonight that's played on 8-foot Olhausen tables (like Fast Eddies). I've never placed in this tournament (played in it less than 10 times), but usually at least 2 pro-level players play and at least 2 A-level players play, so it's tough. It's winner breaks as well. Since I consider myself C to C+ in ability, it can be annoying, lol.
Of course, I got into the money at the Houston Open, so maybe my nerves aren't as bad as they used to be.
Ironman - I intend to practice other things as well, lol.

Finally made it! This hotel is definitely... uh... historic! Actually the decor isn't too bad, but the facilities are a bit outdated (as they should be I guess). Not bad for being a couple blocks from the Riverwalk. In fact, we're about to head down there shortly.

im up and im on the road. I couldnt sleep a wink , so ill be pullin in early. anyone know what time fast eddies is opening?
and btw theyre not showing the fight tonight. Buffalo wild wings will have it though. if anyones interested. I got money on delahoya. vs the pinoy. We gotta beat those filipinos at somthing

Well folks, that's it for 2008.
The ladies Player of the Year is Heather Lloyd for the open or mens, it is again for the 3rd consecutive year Jui Lung Chen.
He pool table was won by Cuck Adams who had 7 tickets in the bucket.
Kyu Yi double dipped Heather to win the Ladies with Kwania Watson getting 3rd, and then my little buddy Melinda got 4th.
In the mens it was James Davis jr 4th, then James Davis Sr 3rd, Jui lung Chen got 2nd and the winner is******* Sylver Ochoa.
As I told the group right before the table draw, it still amazes me that this is our 7th year, in 2009.After we were snitched off in San Angelo for the calcutta, I know there were many skeptics that thought it was over, but, you, the players have kept this very much alive and kicking.
I'm stil not sure how much value the calcutt adds to an event, or these events, but I'm sure it had it's effect on things and gas prices for several months hurt as well. If I could just catch the owner I think I can talk him into an idea I have about it, but he is tough to catch up with.
Either way, we are on for next year and hope you will all help us to enjoy the 7th year of Fast Eddies Olhausen 9 Ball Tour.
