Okay, I've made my hotel reservations, so I'll definitely be there on Friday Night and Saturday. I went through Priceline and got $40/night at the Extended Stay America... which I hear isn't too bad... and isn't too far from Fast Eddie's.

Awesome Samiel! Thanks for the info, that is what I needed. Looks like J & I will definitely by down there this weekend, though we're not coming down until Saturday morning.

I used Samiel's suggestion and did the same for Saturday night. It is the one on Woodway Drive, so looks like it is a pretty good deal Samiel found. :)
 
Yes, that's the one Ray. They might have taken less than $40 a night, but I was on my re-bid and didn't want to risk getting rejected altogther. We can definitely play Friday night. I'll probably leave here by 5:00pm, so I'll probably get there by 7:00pm depending on traffic.

Glad you guys got the same deal Tara! One night for $40 isn't too shabby and Gordy told me that Extended Stay Hotels are decent.

Chen might come down Friday, but I'm not sure yet. I was hoping to convince some of the heavy hitters to come down and steal my money in the ring game, but they may not come down until Saturday morning. More money for Ray I guess!

Whats wrong with playing with a Cuetec. I play with thier custom cues.
 
There's nothing wrong with playing with a Cuetec... it's a running joke at Cuetec's expense... :p

To tell you the truth, I don't think I've ever played with a Cuetec. I know guys that use house cues that just kill me, so it's generally the indian and not the arrow.

No, I'm saying you probably didn't understand my reference to the running joke about Cuetec cues on these forums.

In general, the cue itself matters very little in comparison to the person who is using the cue.
