Hey Fast, try to ignore all of these guys trying to ignite you. It would be nice to keep you around on this board, I've learned some useful things from you. Apparently people here are doing this to get you banned from the board, they know how to tick you off, they know what happened last time. Just ignore them, you are the bigger man.

I have no idea what happened "last time." But, I am a fast learner, and if I have learned anything from Larry, it is that he is all of the things I have already described him to be. I have learned far more helpful and insightful information from lots of different members on this board. Larry doesn't seem to want to chime in unless it is his particular thread or unless somebody mentions his name. There is hardly a thread in which somebody is asking for help and Larry decides to post, unless it is to reveal some other trivial tid-bit about his illustrious, or is it illusoryLastTwo said:

612, you are wrong. Fl's an old timer who can tell us
tales nobody else will or can. Everybody knows he gets
upset easily & you seem to enjoy setting him off.
Just back off & things will quiet down soon.
I suspect that you enjoy the taunting & will continue,
however. Be aware of the fact that a lot of us enjoy
Fl's posts when he's not on a rampage.
Met Dr. Q, talked with him, mentioned Fast Larry, and Dr Q said he knows Larry Gunninger, very good trick shot artist and looks forward to the World of trick shot pool that FL was talking about taking off.
So if a prominent person like Dr. Q respects FL that is good enough for me. I sure won't put any credence into anything some unknown poster says.

I personally have never questioned Fast Larry's ability or his history. But, the man is an ASS. He would do well to take a second look before he hits the SUBMIT REPLY button. He dumps on anyone elses opinion. He promotes his DVD in the middle of a response which never really goes anywhere. Often he posts informative information, but it usually winds up insulting someone else in the process. Often his rudeness crosses boundaries that would earn him a knuckle sammich in many pool halls. For the sake of this forum, I would personally like him to stick around. But with a little more consideration and modesty.

You remind me of a hockey icon we have in Canada. EVERYONE here knows who Don Cherry is. Lots love him and lots hate him because he pulls no punches. He shoots from the hip and always tells it like it is. He's in heavy poop right now because he said on national TV that only French and European players would wear visors on their helmets. His suggestion that "North American" players would'nt be such wimps drew a hellava response from the tall foreheads at CBC-TV. They called him a racist, a bigot - you name it. It was a big PR disaster for all these conservative hot shots at CBC. They finally said they would start a 7 second delay on his show so they could censor his remarks!
The sad thing is that Don was just tellin' the truth...
