Daz breaks dry, very nice safety on the 1 from Rodney to get BIH.

Rodney runs out to go up 8-6.
 
Rodney breaks dry.

Daz banks the 1 cross-side, plays safe on the 3. Rodney returns the safety.

Daz locks Rodney up on the 5 ball. Rodney misses an almost impossible kick.

Daz takes BIH and runs out.

Darren just scratched on the break for the third time in the same side pocket. His CB seems headed there every break. And it cost him. Rodney wins the next game.

Daz scratches in the side pocket on the break (3rd scratch on the break in the match for Daz).

Rodney gets out of line on the 3, cuts 3 in side but has long shot on 4. Tough shot on the 5 now from the side rail.

Rodney gets up twice on the 5, gets back down and barely makes the 5 as it wipes its feet.

Rodney makes the 6 in the corner, comes too far for the 7 and barely avoids getting hooked behind the 8, but gets out to go up 10-7.
 
Rodney breaks dry, leaves cueball near corner pocket. Daz misses the 1 in the opposite corner using inside english, hangs 1 near the side pocket.

Rodney makes a smooth out to go up 11-7. Rodney looks really strong.
 
B&R for Rodney, 11-7. Daz requests a 2nd break. Rodney goes ahead and breaks but comes up dry. We're waiting for Darren to come back.
 
Daz takes a break. Rodney racks and opts to continue shooting, but breaks dry.

Jay Helfert offers to shoot for Daz and Rodney says, "Please, yes!"

Daz plays safe on the 1. Rodney kicks one rail at the 1, hits it very nice leaving a one-rail kick for Daz.

Daz makes a nice kick leaving Rodney hooked behind the 9. Rodney kicks two rails and hits the 1 but leaves an easy shot in the side for Daz, table is open.

Daz runs out.

Daz hits the rack solid, makes three balls, but cueball gets kicked into the corner pocket. 4th scratch on the break for Daz.

Rodney runs out to go up 12-8. Daz is going to have to string some racks here to pull it out.
 
Rodney breaks dry. Darren comes with a nice shot on the 1 to get shape on the 2.

Darren misses the 3 in the corner, leaves a shot for Rodney. Rodney returns the favor and hangs the 3 in the corner pocket.

Darren gets too straight on the 9 down the rail, plays rail first for a decent shot on the 10. Darren makes the 10.

Daz makes a solid break, puts down the 1, but has no shot on the 2.

Daz pushes to end rail leaving a long, straight-in shot on the 3. Rodney elevates his cue and misses the 2 by a full diamond, but leaves no shot.

Rodney masses the length of the table and pockets the 2 in the corner. The balls are favoring Rodney.

Rodney runs out to go up 13-9.
 
Rodney breaks from the side cushion for the first time, cueball gets kicked into the side pocket. BIH for Daz with an open table.

Daz runs out.

Break-and-run for Daz. We could be in for an interesting finish here.

Daz makes 2 balls on the break, but has no shot on the 1. Can barely see the edge of the 1 which is behind the 2.

Daz tries an ill-advised safety off the 1, clips the 3 and scratches in the corner pocket.

Rodney gets thin on the 4 after brushing the 9, but recovers nicely and gets out to reach the hill at 14-11.
