Fatboy rails

Just trying to clear up some questions that were in another thread that got closed.

I built the FATBOY rails that were used in the TAR studio with Glen looking over my shoulder and teaching me about the new tooling he created.

Shortly after that I built the set of TAR rails that are on the bleachers table at BEST Billiards Las Vegas ( Flamingo & Sandhill) so the players would have something similar to the TAR table available to match up on.

They eventually wrote a program at the factory to be able to sell a TAR railset @ 4.125" corner pockets

Just clearing up some questions

I was wondering if the rail canvas on the intercontinental 66 was on top (away from the slate) as Glen normally does it, if the nose height was at 1 7/16 inches (64% ball height, the apparently new Diamond standard) and if that changed the sub-rail angle from the usual 19 degrees.

Thanks, Tom

I just got done playing on that table on Saturday. Plays fantastic. So what is the main difference other than the tighter pockets? Are the rails calibrated a little different? Also what kind of cushions are they?

I wish more tables were like that Best Billiard table. It's also a nice clean room.

Gordon, maybe you can talk Pool Sharks into doing a few few tables like that.
