Fats was a great character. I think he had more fun, and more financial success in pool than anyone. 100 years from now you'll be able to go anywhere (except maybe a poolroom) and ask who the greatest pool player ever was, and hear his name. He was a genius, all right.
I wouldnt be suprised if he did have more fun than anyone else. But by no means was he constantly beating mosconi. I would say compared to players of today he would be about a stevie moore?
