Favorite cue tip?

My own view is, that the tip is the tunable item on a cue,to make it match your stroke.
That is the reason I think that there is no one good tip. What works best for that day and table , may not be the best in another location and conditions.
It is probably the reason for having 3 shafts with a cue and have different tips on each.

Here is my question to all the players who have responded to this thread.
Why is it,that on the same cue, different people like a different tip,and not necessarily the brand/type that they normally seem to like.

Basically you are dealing with what a player envisions in their head and what happens in reality.. It is only natural to like the tip that matches what you imagined.. This is why some people concentrate on the sound and some concentrate on the feel either of which is coupled with their position on the table....

I tell everyone who tries our tips to stat with the soft and see if it matches what you imagined... IF it comes up short consistently move up to the medium and if it is still short move upto the hard....

This almost never works for the sound guys because the soft is too quiet and the sound is part of what they have ingrained in their imagination.. Same thing with the feel guys.. COR has a lot to do with feel and if you really are a medium guy the soft will not feel firm enough regardless of the durometer......

cuecomponents.com samson s2. This is bar none the best tip i've ever played with. I'm close to 5 tips in on this particular tip and they last about a year if you play four hours a day. Two of my buddies are playing with this too. Both are believers. I have tried every tip on the planet and this tip works. not expensive so you can't brag you spent 20 bucks on a moori quick; but you can put the cue ball where you need it. Check it out.

Yeah I tried this tip before. Its good. But if you compare to the higher end ones let's say a G2, S2 loses out in terms of bite to the cue ball.
