Favorite/easiest diamond banking systems.

when playing you use english on many of the banks to change the banks angle and or for the angle the cue balls comes off for position.

for just making the bank, the majority of them using inside english and a constant speed that you have learned and can duplicate for shots. is a helping aid.

speed shortens or lengthens banks. so if you cant predict your speed, knowing where to hit is not going to be the right spot.

A few days ago, was practicing long banks with the two balls (OB and CB) less than a diamond and a half off the left long rail. The banks I was practicing had slight cut angles. Repeatedly the cut on the bank would throw the OB off just enough for me to miss the pocket. I'd hit the long rail a touch too early.

I decided on the fly to add a quarter tip of inside, shorten my bridge and shorten my stroke. Make sure all my hits were straight, with just that touch of inside.

Bingo. The object balls straightened out enough for me to pocket most of these banks.

That's what practicing and experimenting is all about. It was a Eureka moment for me.

changing your stroke doesn't do a thing except maybe make you get a cleaner hit if that helps you.
changing speeds and english, changes where you need to hit the rail on your banks. that's judgement.

best for most to learn banks and understand them with no english, and at a constant repeatable speed first.

some inside on many banks will shorten them up so then they come more straight back. that gives a bigger pocket on certain ones.
hitting harder may do the same thing.
there are many variables.

I was more accurate hitting the CB where I wanted on long banks, using a shorter bridge and stroke. Of course, banks in real games might require something different for positioning ...

then maybe most all your shots should have that stroke. accuracy on your hit is the most important thing in pool.

for positioning,-- speed and english, and the change in where you hit the rail will be the difference in how you hit the bank shot.
not your bridge and stroke length, unless needed for reaching or comfort.
