Favorite Music

Melodic Death Metal most of time. Insomnium favorite band and winter´s gate album, one song 40 min long :D
Sometimes i put some Röyksopp. odd music. dunno what genre that is really. Sometimes i listen also just instrumental chill music.

I like a LOT of music, but since we're talking about what we listen to while playing when we can this is what I roll with.

There are 158 mp3's on my phone right now. MOST of them are classic rock (Hendrix,Boston,Van Halen,Zep,and Journey).

There's also a bunch of 80's metal (Dokken,early Ozzy,Ratt,Metallica,etc)

My fave band for over 25 years now has been Dream Theater,so there's also a bunch of it on there.

I also dig trance, and have 3 tunes from that genre.

I like rap/hip hop at times in the right setting, just not when I'm playing.

However,I have 2 rap songs on there. Luniz-I Got 5 On It,and Migos-Walk It Talk It.

I haven't found a pair of wireless earbuds I like yet,so I still use normal corded ones from Klipsch that I got for 15.00 on clearance at Wal Mart in 2015 and they still work perfect. Tommy D.

60's, 70's & early 80's classic rock along with southern rock and some cherry-picked country. I spent thousands a decade or so ago building a Polk audio system with towers, center channel and sub-woofer driven by Yamaha. Was pleased as punch (for being a technophobe) when I figured out Amazon Music thru a digital receiver to the aux port on the Yamaha. Now have plenty of custom playlists to pump through the system for the price of buying a single CD a month. Good tunes and pool are like ladies and lingerie.

I play this somrtimes just to see my opponent's reaction. Varies from mildly amused to abject horror. Try it sometime. ;)

Blues and classic rock. J J Cale goes with anything. John Mayall, Willie Dixon, Paul Butterfield, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, too many others to mention. Zydeco

Great White(before the fire) also Steve Winwood, Alabama. I have been listing to Led Zeps Celebration day a lot lately.
