In honor of Color Of Money being on Flix tonight, I decided to ask...What's your favorite pool movie?

The hustler.

I did see a great 3 Cushion billiards movie part with Christopher Walken and probable the best filming of pool-billiards as yet , I don't know the name of the movie but the shots were incrediable , the movie was about some stolen diamonds and a scam of 2 million dollars if anyone knows of it please post Thanks

Not that it would be voted as a good pool movie, you forgot to include Whoopi Goldberg's, Kiss Shot that appeared on CBS TV some years back (94?).

I happened to record it at the time and watched it again a few months ago. It is about a woman who is close to losing her house to the mortgage company and she, through the help of that guy on the NY cop show, Dennis ____, decides the best way to get the money is by doing what she did in her youth, playing pool.

Whoopi really sucks at pool (and a lot else, imho), but the whole story is supposed to be predictable and lighthearted, as it is a network made-for-TV movie.
FYI,
Jeff Livingston

Jeff,

My kids would like a copy of the movie. I was in it. I was looking for work (construction) and was playing pool when I was in California (I am pretty sure it was earlier than '94). I was one of the pool players in the pool room - had a red shirt on - had to wear it for a couple of days since it took them a couple days to shot the shots they wanted to the pool room. Its probably illegal for me to pay you to make a copy but if you are sure it was CBS I will see if I can get a response from them. Didn't seem important to get a copy of it then but the kids want it for the g-kids. Let me know. And fyi, Dennis was a regular guy - not into pool much - but liked to golf - made all us pool players feel like real people.

It isn't illegal for me to give you a copy, which I'd be happy to do. I'll contact you on your web site with my email address...OK?

My copy has all the commericials, too, which kinda makes it more timely. I'll make a copy of my copy and then keep that, so you can have the one with better quality.
