FCI billiards has posted some cues im inetersted in on their facebook page that was created fairly recently. Theyre not offering them thru their actual website.

Anyone dealt with them in the past or have any insight?

Also what's the best transaction method to protect myself from being ripped off?

Thanks!

I've ordered plenty from them, but you shouldn't trust any unofficial channels when buying stuff.
I'd say call/email them directly and ask.

^ yeah that. I wouldn't trust their FB post, too easy to hack/impersonate on there. But if you call them from the number listed on their website and make the deal then I think you'd be in good shape.

I've only ordered a couple small things from them but one, a mid extension, didn't work out as the female threading was messed up. They were super nice about it, sent me a return shipping label and got me a refund without any issues. Good customer service in my experience.

I've ordered a few times. But not from fb. As mentioned, give them a call. Good guys. Easy to work with.

FCI is legit, but I wouldn't buy from anyone on facebook claiming to be them, unless you follow a link directly from their website or something. Scammers are everywhere and this is a popular scam.

why would people buy off a social media site or email and not call the company itself and order when you dont know them.

its about as dumb as giving any personal info to a person that calls you on the phone.

except of course to sending money to a nigerian prince when you stand to make a few million on the deal.

you did not seem to know how to make a simple secure purchase or you wouldn't have asked.
so now you know.

Go directly to website. I was looking at a cuetec, went to every site and theres was the cheapest. No tax or shipping fee. So I went with them over seyberts and pooldawg .

FCI is 100% legit. Forget FB. I think the owner of FCI is Frank, and he is who I have always dealt with. Good guy. Why go to FB?

Also, this is the GO TO outfit for Instroke repairs, particularly installation of "Diamond Latches". They may also repair other brands.

FCI : 5 stars

If I'm looking for something and see they have it, I'm buying there.

Agreed with dealing directly through their website...
