Mark having a gap don't mean he's teaching it..There's a whole thread on it in ask the instructor. A postetr asked about the gap pictured in Wilson's book.

It is in his book. Are you suggesting he's putting it in there for funzies?Mark having a gap don't mean he's teaching it..
He often has a gap. Watch more of his matches. Most slip stroke guys are so loose a gap creeps in often, Efren falls in that category.Efren has no gap in his grip, he only lets go of the cue on the final delivery so I'll pass on those milkshakes...
I disagree, he does not have a slip stroke and is holding the cue with two fingers most always wrapped around the cue.He often has a gap. Watch more of his matches. Most slip stroke guys are so loose a gap creeps in often, Efren falls in that category.
You're right.I disagree, he does not have a slip stroke and is holding the cue with two fingers most always wrapped around the cue.
I do have a tip for you: You might benefit from keeping your cue tip longer on the felt after following through, instead of immediately pulling back or not even touch it.Say to yourself ''one'' before lifting the tip of the felt and think of it like a magnet to your tip..I just corrected that in my stroke and it worked like a charm, more precision, more power, better ball pocketing...I was 500 but stopped logging in games a while back. I think I would be between 550 and 600 now.
