I'm not sure if this thread is in the right section but would anyone know some of the distinct differences between these 1x2 cases? Aside from the labels, is there anything that sets each apart from the other? What is the history behind these companies and are they somehow related?

Does anyone have photos (exterior and interior) of a 1x2 Kelli case that they could post or sent to me? I'd also like to see what in the inside of the cap looks like.

thanks.

unknown case and fellini

here is an unknown case that i'm trying to identify. it is the tan buggy whip case and the other is a fellini.

they are both about the same length but the tan one is a bit thicker overall as seen in the pictures. also, the inside of the fellini cap uses a black leather textured piece but the tan case has a white piece of material with a linen texture. i have another fellini that is identical in size and also includes the same dark material in the cap but has a tan ostrich exterior.

i'm just trying to identify who may have built the tan buggy whip case as there is no tag inside.

felini

Tan is a felini. It's the bottom that gives it away. I won't say how I know though. But La El or not that's what you have. I would say mid sixties and value At $500.00

Kelli

These cases were made in Jackson, Tn and were smaller in diameter than the others. The cue fit more snug and they were very nice.

nice case....love it

For a period Schon made cases with extruded tubes that were slightly larger overall than Fellini, Centennial, Gore, etc. Other than that...and no interior tag, they looked very close to a run-of-the-mill Fellini. I'm certain that your tan case is in fact a Schon. We have a smooth black one with the same specs. That is correct that the Kelli cases had slightly smaller tubes, and that is their primary distinguishing element.

I've got one of those oversized buggy whipped cases. I compared the size to my Engles and to a Fellini and it was larger so I figured it was one of those Schon cases.
