Mine just broke...

Is there a very noticeable difference between a genuine ivory ferrule compared to say a premium performance shaft ferrule (ie. Ivor-x, OB, Predator, etc...) hit wise and jump wise?

Genuine ivory on a break/jump? I wouldn't.

Why not go with a phenolic ferrule, and apply a BCA-approved break/jump tip, like the Samsara?

My Gullyassy J/B had a 1 1/8" long phenolic one piece tip/ferrule on it, but lacked in the HIT department,,,,,,,,I faced it off down to 3/4" long and then put a Samsara B/J tip on it,,,,,,,,definetly hits now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,made all the difference.

My FT2 ferrule not only holds chalk the best out of all the phenolic but is the only ferrule that is unbreakable and will not damage the cue ball.

Mike:

Can you guarantee that? (I.e. that it won't damage the cue ball?) The reason I ask, is whether e.g. BCA/BCAPL will recognize your product as a "legal" product for breaking.

Personally, I believe you unflinchingly. BCA/BCAPL, on the other hand...

Is this a new ferrule from what was used in the Sledgehammer days Mike?
