ferrule less shaft

Wrong section. But ferruless shafts are stiff very low deflection but also very low English. Longer ur ferrule usually more deflection and more action u can get on cue ball which is why I think most company's. Ob predator etc.. shafts have small ferrules these days. Seems all company's ferrules keep getting smaller and smaller on these new shafts

I have a ferrule less shaft and get a ton of English. And yes very very little deflection. I can make a few cross banks with extreme English which I could not before. Ball 1/4 inch from my opponents pocket and cue uptable at what looks like a kiss angle. Comes in handy for 1p.

To reduce the weight and so create a shaft that deflect more/faster. stiffness has to do with the taper of the shaft, more conical - stiffer imo.
