Q qbilder slower than snails Silver Member Sep 16, 2011 #3 Aegis is a brand name for a linen based melamine. AegisII I would imagine is where they quit manufacturing one type of melamine & began using another. Ivorine is also a brand name for melamine. Not all LBM's are the same.
