I love the hit of Ivory but I use melamine for a standard ferrule on my cues.

I was putting Aigis II ferrules on all the cues I make. They are a good quality and good hitting ferrule for the money. But now I have switched to IVOR-X . Just as good if not better, and they stay alot cleaner. Chalk does not stick to them near as bad, and there around the same price.
