ffffff

Theres a few..,

Just curious
Cant seem to get ahold of mr spates

are there any more?

Jerry Olivia is one of the best in the business. He makes great cues and is the only guy around Houston to go to for serious repair work.

I have purchased cues from him and he stands behind his work 100% no questions asked. He is also the best repair guy you'll find anywhere.

Roger Allen works out of Big Tymes Billiards and has been around for years.

Stumbled across that guy named "Black" when I was lost in Humble, Tx. He showed me a bunch of cues he made for his wife. Didn't want anyone seeing me leave with a ladies cue so I waited and had them shipped UPS. Might ought to google him and check out some of his samples.

Hey buddy
I would suggest you to call Jerry Olivier. Not just he build great playing cues and does amazing repair job but he is extremely nice, helpful, kind and humble. He is a truly great man and person and real gentleman.Beside this his prices are more than fair.
No way you can be dissapointed with him.I will post you four cues from him that I owe and all of them are built precisely and all work on them is top.Finish is like a glass as well.
Hope this helps

I've owned Olivier cues. My brother uses one as his main player.
Jerry is a super nice guy. You'll like his work and his level of expertise.

The cue in my picture is a Olivier and as far as prices, its like a car what all do you want on it.---Smitty

Depends on what side of town you live .

If on the north side you got Roger Allen at big Tyme pool room.
Danny spates is also near by on the north side.
On the south side you got Jerry Olivier. Pearland I believe.

Then you also got Richard black, but that's not for repairs but to buy cues. Which are in outer space prices.

There are also repair people all over if that's what your hunting.

Hey,I am glad that you contacted Jerry and told you he is coming back to you right away.Good choice for sure and let me know when the cue is finished to know hoe evrything comes out.
Enjoy in your custom build cue.

No not looking for repair but a simple cue made by a local person
jerry got back with me right away so im gonna go with him
I had a feelin blacks were pricey due to his rep

I live on the north in the middle between big tyme and bogies

I own 2 Jerry Olivier cues, one for about 15 years, the other for 9. You won't meat a nicer guy and he makes a good hitting cue for a very reasonable price.

So back in 2000 or so, in the days of the rec.sport.billiard newsgroup, I was just really getting into pool and interested in cues. Custom cues were very rare in Toronto (and are still quite rare). An RSBer came to town and we had a get together - I hit with cue and loved it. It was an Olivier. I later later went down to the SBE and hit with a whole lot of the lowest priced offering by many custom makers, but still liked the JO best. I bought it (and eventually a 314 shaft) and loved it. It is still a great cue, if a bit banged up.

Talk to Jerry Olivier.
I have one of his cues and it's excellent.
Plus he's done some repair work for me and it's always been very good.
I think his plane janes start at 400 or thereabout.

Allen Green makes the nicest, best hitting, most reasonably priced cues in this area.
I've had two and sold them for a nice profit. He's making me a third as I type (if he works this late)

P.S. Have had many cues, still have a Scruggs. Allens are the best bargain and the most
reasonably priced. :)
