Fiddles made from fiddleback make beautiful music. :) :) Cues made from fiddleback make beautiful music ;) ;) Just finished the shafts and they will make beautiful music too. If there are any musicians who are interested, let me know before I post this on my website.

I have an old(30yrs) fiddleback shaft. I've used it on evey cue I've had with 3/8ths x10 pin. If I could, thats all I would play with. Mine is nice and dense and pretty heavy. I can feel the wavy grain though, a fresh cut and seal would probably take care of that.

These fiddlebackshafts are both 4 oz with Moori tips. (Forgot to mention that on some of the emails). Total cue weight is 19.25 with black leather wrap, points in both forearm and butt.

I'm confused. I thought this thread was about fiddleback shafts for sale but now you mention the weight of the cue and points and .. I'm confused.

I have two old Brunswick Tru-Balance one piece cues that are spliced into fiddleback/tiger maple. They are both great players. I believe that a cue's resonance when striking a ball is a sign of soundness of construction.
