Just watched his match and demeanor.
Made many good decisions, board play was good.
Opponent played many poor safeties also, he was not easy on himself.

Only problem Filler had was his speed control at times, tables played slower that 860HR.

he also got lucky. not that he wouldn't have won otherwise but those flukes were brutal

True, but his decision making and time spent to make decisions is good. I like his game right now better than Ko's.

This match?

Watched Fillers match with He, the 10%..... negative body language, left to right head movements started to creep in.
He soon created another opponent in that match (himself) and lost.
Mario played good.... very consistent.
The next match that Mario played vs Shaw the Mario body language/mirror man started to creep in.
One simple shot that he missed; his swing rhythm was completely Otta Cink.
Never let the third man into your game, that guy is your biggest Opponent.

At that level of competition, his 90% game would not be good enough to beat the other top players.

What degraded Fillers game in the first place?

Here's a copy paste of a thread I started about Filler/Feb this year, and the Dominance was seemingly not what is was.
I could feel something was going on.
Maybe at home, or the young guns from Europe starting to surface.

Here's my OP.... about me noticing something seemed different.
May be it's at home....

What does the ''rumor mill'' have to say about no recent wins in Majors?
Is it related to his Equipment change (carbon fiber shaft) or is it something else?
His consistency is not that of SVB tho for a few years he was Always in the hunt.
In talking with Mr. 626 a few yrs back, he said it take a few years to make that adjustment/change.
Carbon fiber....

that's a good way of putting it! i've had this third man in my game for the last years, since an hiatus from the game. going forward i will call him mr. otta cink and banish him from the pool hall

Looks like the killer needs to be put back into to the Filler.

I've always enjoyed watching the man play.

It's so hard to stay on top in pool. Many top players have streaks where they win a lot and then it fades.

Constantly traveling the world to play pool can lead to burn out.

Like the great female golfer Aisian/tall, forgot her name, but during her early prime years, she went back to college to ''grow'' mature and handle life.
I've always felt if you wanted to groom/help/steer/educate your offspring to become great at pool do this 1st.

Take them to a pool room, bar room and late night situations.
Make em realize first the environment (old men and gamblers) they will be around ALLOT.

I respect SVB for he pulled away from gambling and focused on playing, safer and better for the soul and the complete package.

Young American player, forgot his name was getting to the top but, his brain went on tilt, he never played again at his prior potential.
He Quit and joined ''real life''.

Coltrain??? I think was his name, Mike?

Mike Coltrane was a young talented played who developed a neurological disease that caused him to experience tremors (hand/arm shaking) that he could no longer compete effectively and retired from the game. From what I understand, he turned to giving instructions to folks who wanted to take up pool. Have no idea what has become of him, but I did enjoy watching his game on the table.

Thx for the Coltrain info, I do remember that.

Michelle We was the name I forgot. I just saw her in the news this past week.
