FINAL 6 Gladiators - Predications?

Well,

for all the supporters of Alex, he won his match against Diks, he has a slim shot at being the top two in his group.......the sun and stars have to align correctly for this to happen....he has to win his next two matches and Manalo has to beat Hohman for him to even have a chance, then it would go down to the %.....

but I'm still squeezing!!!! I feel like I'm gonna faint lol:o

Good for Alex,
He's had his trouble with Diks in past WPC group stage rounds losing to him twice in successive years if I remember correctly.I was thinking he can't take Diks lightly so I'm glad he won.

Looking again Ralph looks a big fav to go through with Dennis, fancy him to beat alcano and he has great %. Interesting to see the guys with fewest loses...

2 Manalo
3 Efren
4 Dennis
4 Ralf

Everyone else has lost at least 6! How good would a Marlon v Efren final be with 350k on the line, would you buy that DVD? :D

I wish I was there to catch you Phoebe. It's a shame you're not on tour yourself. You are a great talent and I am sure a great inspiration to Alex.

Manalo
Orcollo
Reyes

Good Chance
Hohmann
Chamat
Souquet
Peach
Appleton
Luat

Small Chance
Pagulayan
Owen
Alcano
Matlock
Stalev
Nevel

No Chance!
Diks
Bustamante
Hann

Appleton v Luat, and Hohman v Chamat could be deciding games with all 4 on 2 wins. Alex still has the highest % to pull it out the bag if he wins his last two against Chamat and Owen but he would still need hohman to lose one of his last 2 games against Manalo and chamat. One things for sure there's going to be some 10k matches in the final round!

I don't think Orcollo is safe yet,

IF Peach AND Soquet win both their final two matches AND Orcollo loses his two final matches then Soquet and peach will advance, right?

Of course mentioned that in another thread smal chance he could still go out, but he's only lost 4 matches in the whole event I can't see him losing next 2 AND Ralf and Peach winning both theirs, I think Peach and Rapf are fighting for second. Peach prob needs to win his last two as Ralph has better %

True,

But like that guy Martinez (I think) who was like unbeatable he had only lost once going into round 4 then in the last round lost 4 straight and was out!!

Amazing things do happen with this kinda fomat.

no one wants to play ralf. he puts them to sleep at the best of times, nevermind after a grueling week like this.:)

i think efren hopes not to play against ralf in the final!!!!

my thoughts exactly!!! souquet has efren's number. hopefully souquet and hohmann meet next round and knock each other out, otherwise it just might be an all-german final!

btw, anyone know how these two have fared against each other in this tournament?

For 9-Ball that's seem to be the case but for 8-ball i think
it's a different ballgame for this two. So in other words let's wait
and see.
By the way Soquet coming to Round 6 has 61.99% while
Efren has only 61.51% even though he wins 5-0 against soquet's 4-1.
Marlon by the way has 63.92% so far..so its Marlon, Soquet and Efren at top 3 on next round.

efren has 3 world 8-ball titles and souquet has a lot of european 8ball titles....i think it's going to be close.

Now that's a world (pun intended) of difference! ;)
Peace. ;)

If Manalo would have beaten Diks his winning percentage would have been over 64%.
He now has come back to the field with just over 62% but he is still the top dog going into the final 6.

It looks like the final 2 will come from Manalo, Reyes or Souquet.
Their winning percentage is so much higher than the other 3 they will win all tie-breakers.

And that's why I like the one, someone called "The Work Horse", Horsten. Gitty-up horsey, my money's on ya. Don't listen to the prattle, just keep working. :-)

Do players represent any country they like? Just wondering because Alex Pagulayan is Canadian(dual citizens now), Bustamante, I believe is a German resident. Parica is a naturalized American. Well, I can't blame Parica because BCA passed him many times to play for USA in USA Vs the World events.

I sure hope

that any of the last 6 players DO NOT degreade this great tournament by doing 'savers' in the end, but so far for the 1st 3 matches, the scores, IMO, look AWFULLY FUNNY.
