I'm saving my best pix when Alcano wins against Niels. :D

I think it's still Race to 10.

Better get ready with your pix bro! It's 7 games to 3 now!

8-4 now Niels can still come back but it would take a lot of effort if it is alternate break format.

And RONNI ALCANO wins it 10-4!!!!:) :D If this is still a race to 10.

Next match Joven vs Dennis. What are Joven's chances against Dennis? To me, it is looking more like a Dennis vs Ronnie finals tomorrow.

Amazing! All filipino finals , again.

It's getting boring now ain't it. But I'm not celebrating as it's not confirmed if this is a Race to 10 still. :D

Ronnie really wants to win this title and is very impressive in his wins against top players like Hohmann (10-3) and Feijen (10-4). On the other hand, Dennis had much closer matches with Souquet and Chamat.

I think Ronnie and Dennis are about equal on paper but I think Ronnie is on a hot streak and is the favourite to win this tournament.

Dennis is at least a ball and a half better than Joven, so the possibility of a
Dennis/Ronnie finals is huge. We all know that Dennis is the "unofficial" money
game king although he was on a slump lately, losing to Van-Van at least a
couple of times. But he needs this world title very badly, to validate his
status. Ronnie needs to win this one too! He could duplicate what Wu Chia
Ching accomplished last year, and that is to win both the world 8 and 9 ball
championships. Not even the Maestro, Efren "Bata" reyes achieved this.

Here's the pix...

Let me lighten it up for everyone.

The Philippines has such a great collection of world class players. You get rid of Efren, Django and Leevan but you still have a Dennis, Ronnie and even an Elvis and a Joven who are not even known to the pool community.

Then you send someone like Warren Kiamco to the USA and he wins both US 8 and 9 ball bar table divisions.
Scary, isn't it?

And these dudes are not even the front runners yet!! After these guys come the young guns, de Luna, Takayama, Petiza and a whole bunch after them!!

Filipino Supremacy!!!

And we all know about his infamous SOFTY during the WPC 2006.

I prefer to cal it, CONTROLLED BREAK. :D
