Well, we all know now that it is Parica vs Alex again.

Alex was the runner-up at the 2002 US Open against Ralf Souquet.

Parica was the runner-up at the 2003 US Open against Jeremy Jones.

One of these two will now have the coveted US Open Title!

I'm going with Jose Parica on this one. It would just be icing on the cake for a great career in Pool.

Alex is young and could win this title in any other year to come.

Who's your pick?

I'd like to see Jose win but I don't think anyone can stop Alex right now. From what I've seen of Alex so far I think he wins and Parica don't 6. That's my prediction, Parica doesn't make 6. Peace, John.

I'm rootin for the old guy this time guys. Parica needs a win like this. Alex really young and will have alot more opportunities. Both players have alot of respect for each other and theres gonna be a tishload of pressure. Anyone watching it live or on BcN i envy u!!!!

Is it a race to 13? If so, my prediction is 13-9 Alex. I will definitely be rooting for Jose though!

Three members of the old guard took dead aim at Alex today, but I believe that when the curtain falls on the 2005 US Open, youth will have been served.

Alex 13 Parica 9.

So many factors could weigh-in at the finals but I don't think it will be one-sided.

Parica 11-9 or 13-10.

I'm really rooting for Parica to win, nothing against
Alex. I predict Parica 13-11.

Just being superstitious

Even the trophies agree with me. The last time Pagulayan played in the US Open Finals the 2nd place trophy was on Pagulayan's side and now it's on his side.

Live coverage right now at BCN. They just went through a ceremony in honor of Mizerak.

Wouldn't be surprised if it went hill-hill on these tables and the way these guys are playing. I think Pagulayan might be a slight favorite, but I'd like Parica to win this.
