Final: Parica vs Pagulayan

They said that the tourney is a race to 11 double elimination, with the exception of the finals, where Parica's loss is wiped clean. With that wording it should be 2 races to 11, but I don't believe it is. Just 1 to 11
 
I am a fan of both players, I can't decide who I want to win! I do know that Parica wants a US Open title badly, and he is getting up there in age, so I'm leaning towards Parica. Plus he lives near me.

At 9-5 Alex breaks. Makes the 4 ball, long straight shot on the one. Alex overcuts the two, leaves it hanging.

Parica straight in on the two. Makes the 2, 3, and gets nice on the 5. Shoots 6 in the side, 7 in the other side. Slight angle on the 8 in the corner up-table, draws back for straight in on the lower-left corner (foot of the table) for the nine. Now 9-6.

Nice view of the rack girl now ;)
 
C'mon Jose! Alex is so close, the pressure's on him now. Hang in there and keep the heat on!
 
Taking a tape change break, you can really tell both guys are going for thier first "open" championship. This is great pool! Makes you feel they are both human. I'm really enjoying this. Can't wait for the finish....................Gerry
