So last night finally got to take a trip to McHenry with my buddy Kurt Jennison... We went to Darrin Hill's shop and I designed my first custom cue!! Totally excited about it. The completion date is March 18th. Look's so far away, but i'm sure it will fly by. So the cue is wrapless with Ebony forearm and butt sleeve, Curly maple handle, the ring work is a set of only 3 he made which took him 2 weeks just to make. He say's he is not making anymore and thank goodness I went when I did, I got the last set. It will have a white butt cap as well as my son's initials as well. As for points they are 4 cocobolo points each with a sharp Ivory diamond and the butt sleeve will also have 4 sharp Ivory diamonds in it. When I get it I will most certainly post pictures asap. It'll be so nice when that thursday rolls around all I have to do is drive down and pick it up and go shoot some racks with it.
