So I bought this antique cabinet maybe 10 years ago, has 2 pull out drawers with holes in them for Pool balls and what looks like storage spots for 6 cues. May have been a cabinet for a doctor or dentist any hew... I finally converted it to a ball polisher, works amazing. I took apart an orbital polisher and removed the orbital component, added a dimmer switch and it is awesome.

Its cool, with the dimmer switch I can go from 50 RPM up to 3200 RPM. Works best at around 1500 in my testing, just spray some Novus 1 and let them spin for maybe 2 minutes and they are like brand new balls

This is really nice! Great work on the custom built in cleaner for sure. I am impressed with your skills! If you made pictures of how you built the cleaner and the process I am sure I speak for many here that we would really appreciate seeing the process.

I agree! Let us see how you built it Cal. I would love to make one for a buddy of mine!

GO AHEAD MAKE MY DAY!!!

That is the best billiard room accessory I have seen.. Bar None.

Prediction Fatboy will like this and be thinking; hmmm that is preetty damn cool, I need one! Albeit in a more modern looking cabinet..

Very nice!!!

What kind of motor uses a dimmer to control speed? DC or is your "dimmer" something more?

Be careful is that's an AC motor with a rheostat dimmer.
