For quite some time I wanted something and had no idea what it was called. Also apparently my description was less than stellar. Anyway I believe I have found out what it's called and I want one. It's called a " Jump Rod ". Anyone got one hit me up thanks!! Also any stories about using one or what you may have seen too. I think it was said these Jump Rods could clear a full ball at three quarters of an inch. I have seen in person clearing a ball at an inch. Any stories do tell please!

I had a hot rod once. And, a ramrod, a lightning rod, a fishing rod, a C65 silicone bronze rod, a welding rod, a connecting rod, and a book by Rod McKuen.
But, I doesn't remember having one of those rods. :smile:
 
McDermott Dr. Popper...will jump a ball from an 1/8th of an inch gap. It can save me from a 3rd foul in action. Weighs 4 ounces and has a 2 inch long solid phenolic tip. Online they show it clearing a soda bottle from a chalk width away. Designed by a trick shot artist. Mine has saved me hundreds of dollars....

The jump rod is under 40 inches long do its illegal. Dr Popper is 40 inches....so it's legal. I love pulling mine out and clearing a close ball....guys hate it.
