Finally Got A Scruggs!!!

First TS cue

I've owned a number of TS cues over the years and what I wouldn't give to have them back (I sold them.....Why I don't know). Tim and Mike Cochran are some of the best cue makers you'll ever deal with (I'll miss Mike....He was the best).

You have a great cue and my advice from experience is......Hang on to it!

Hang onto it, is right!

Great looking TS there - I am in the camp of liking the rings very much.

Wasy enough to determine whether the joint rings and hoppe ring are ivory; use a magnifying glass (may not even need one) and look to see if there is that unmistakable grain of elephant ivory.

The point veneer colors are understated and spectacular, IMO.

I am lucky to have a few TS cues, my player is a plain no-point bacote cue with an ivory hoppe ring.

My fanciest TS is inlaid with lots of ivory and a material that until I obtained this cue, I had never heard of before - gold-lipped pearl. When you look at this pearl straight on it looks like normal pearl but as you turn it it becomes dark gold. Very cool!

Enjoy your TS cue. It's a real beauty and just like me, you are now out of equipment excuses. :grin-square:

Best,
