So I finally felt I'm at a transition point in my game that I ordered a Predator 314^2 shaft for my cue.
I'm starting to use more than just draw and follow and really working on ball control. The first tip I had on my cue when I bought it was an Everest tip and I loved it.
Since then I have a Kamui Black Soft tip and can notice the difference a little bit with the grip and feel of the softer tip especially since I'm using more fineness in my game.
Anyway I have a spare tip I was planning on putting on my current shaft (Kamui II S) so I just ordered the Predator shaft with the standard Everest.
Should I just have the Everest chopped off and stick with the softer tip like I have been playing with or use the Everest for a bit and then go back to the softer tip if the slightly harder tip doesn't seem to be working for me?
