I just wanted to share! :p

I finally hit another 40+ last night (on an 8-footer). I was playing a friend and my run ended on a missed break shot. :(

Previously, my high run had been a 43 (on a 9-footer), but I have been struggling to hit 40 again for a few years now. In league, I've hit a 38 (on an 8-footer), but the 40+ has been eluding me.

I believe the run was a 47. It wasn't pretty, but I'm happy! :p
 
i've blown many good runs by missing the break-ball. it's a pisser. recently, i've taken a little speed off the cue and paid extra attention to a center ball hit and have not had any problems. i think that one can over-think a break-ball. sometimes you just have to relax and not worry so much about offending the pool gods.

Congrats on the new high run ! keep it up...50+ is on the way...
