Finally!!!!

I like my home table...but if I ever decide to get another, it will be a Diamond..I like the way they play..I'm a thinking you'll have years of fun..your room looks sweet..you the player now..lol.

Congrats on acquirering a beautiful table. Really enhances the room. When I first saw the picture you posted I immediately noticed the lights and uneven lighting of the table. Everything is so expensive now-a-days but good luck on getting a new one. Now, kick back and enjoy playing.

Table

I have always liked the Diamond Pro-Am the best too. It has that old style sturdiness to it with those solid legs. Have fun playing!!!!

I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Diamond Pro Am. It was set up this past Friday and it is awesome!!!!

Just wanted to share since I had asked opinions from the board in the past about whether to pull the trigger on this table or not...

I believe I made the right decision.

I like the 'fortress' look of this Diamond...to me, a pool table is a battlefield.
I would like it even more if the legs were wider at the bottom than the top.
I distrust elegant-looking billiard furniture.

And by all means, get a Diamond light-shade...you need eye protection for
those lights. The right lighting will tone down the room also, and give it
that 'je ne sais quoi' that will encourage you to stay there for hours.....
much to the consternation of your wife.:frown:

And btw, play the 4-ball in with high center-ball... this shot is counter-
intuitive, the harder you hit it, the less it will travel. The cue-ball will go long off the first rail and when it hits the second rail, the top spin becomes
draw, slowing the cue-ball down to park it center table...which gives you
the proper angle on the 5-ball to get on the 6-ball. Stay near mid-table
so you can play two rails for the 7-ball in the same pocket you made the
4-ball, thus ensuring that you never get snookered by the 9-ball.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words...this has been a few of them.

Congrats on your new table, Im sure you will enjoy it for many years to come. Do you live in Wisconsin, can I come over and play????

Very nice. I've always been torn. I want one to improve my game but at the same time I have sooooooo many girls and banger friends that come over to party and have fun and I don't think they would ever make a single ball.

I'm still going to do it one day.

Damn Sweet!

Best tables and Made In America! Now to the nitty gritty, what are the corner measurements, which rails did you get the blue label or red label? AND MOST IMPORTANT, When is the first annual AZ members only party??? LOL!

Thanks and I played them very close to the way you described. You are right though, medium speed on the 4 ball is pivotal, otherwise the ball would end up spinning on the end rail.

You are correct, they are the best tables and being made in America is a plus.

Corner measurements are Pro Cut at 4.5 inches. Tough but not too bad either. They won't except slop but they will accept a well hit ball.

Rails were with the blue label; so they are the new rails, which was required from my standpoint.

We will have to see about the AZ party, but everyone here that knows me knows all they have to do is call and I will most likely play.

Thanks for the comments.
