Find U.S. rooms with snooker tables

Two in Pensacola Florida both 12ft 1 at nine mile billiards 8504731073 and the other at legends billiards 8504582888
 
Thanks for putting together the list. A friend and I just went to Caspers here in Texas last week and played on their 12 footer. We had a blast, though making balls was a challenge.:) Deep Pockets in Alvin Texas took down their table, so they no longer have a snooker table.
 
FindSnooker.com updated, finally

Hi, folks. Before today I hadn't updated FindSnooker.com for nearly a year. Much as I might like to enumerate my excuses, what's important is that I just posted an update.

There are new entries and changes for California, Georgia, Kansas, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Now that I've fixed a problem accessing the FindSnooker.com server I can provide regular updates again. Thanks to everyone for emailing me with updates--you keep the site alive.

Over the past two months I've contacted each of the listed rooms by phone or email to confirm the number and size of the table(s). In some cases I had to guess the size based on what I was told.

In the near future the website will include a list of rooms that have sold their snooker table(s) or closed.

If you know of a table not currently on the list, or if a correction needs to be made, please post a follow up in this thread...

Wow thank you so much for this service. I am a huge fan of snooker but only know of one place that has a table to play on and its not the greatest.
 
club med billiards Harrisburg, PA has a snooker table. There are a few regulars that play pretty strong. Not Ronnie O'sullivan, but fun to watch for central PA.:)
 
Just to be clear are these clothed with conventional napped cloth? In my travels into the US most that I have found our clothed with pool worsted type cloth.

There is one place I know of in Oregon that has the directional nap cloth, but for the most part I believe they use 860 Simonis.

There are some rooms with Strachan cloth, but I'm not sure how many. I only have information about the cloth for a small fraction of the rooms listed on FindSnooker.com. If a table is described as being used for Golf then it's likely to have the same Simonis cloth as the pool tables.

If you could note the type of cloth you see the next time you find a snooker table in the U.S., please send me a PM or (preferably) send me an email via FindSnooker.com and I'll include the information the next time I update the site.
 
Snooker tables in Missouri

There is a 5 x 10 Brunswick with 860 simonis at Kamlers in Cameron, MO. And it's twin at Chalk & Cue pool room in St. Joseph, MO.

Players billiards ,in eatontown, nj. 6X12 snooker. With nap cloth.
Been there, seen it.......beautiful table.
 
Old thread, I don't think Breakaway in Clinton MA has a snooker table anymore.

I was there quite a few times over the past few years and they only have 8 9 footers and a few bar tables.

Farmington Billiards in Farmington, MN has a nice 5x10 Brunswick Anniversary Snooker table. Used both for Snooker and Golf.

Mainline Billiards in Frazer PA no longer has a snooker table. It was replaced by 2 bar tables.
 
Eight years of FindSnooker.com - thanks to y'all!

FindSnooker.com has been online since late June of 2009. Thanks to contributions from numerous AzB users, we've had eight solid years of updates. I'm often tardy in posting corrections and new listings, but I eventually catch up.

I've hardly played in the nearly four years since I became a dad, but I'm looking forward to playing again soon at my home room, The Billiards Cafe in Ayer, Massachusetts.

Thanks again to all of you for updates and corrections for FindSnooker.com.

One day when I'm a multithousandaire and the kid is napping I'll revamp the website a bit. Probably.
 
New 6x12 Star...................

Jamaica Joes in Midwest City,Ok. just installed a new Star table. Nice place. Diamond big and bar tables, full bar and grill.
