This is a classic and often copied design from a legendary series of cues by a legendary maker.
It was always one of my favorites. I have an old National cue that actually used a stylized version of this design.
These De Series cues are true players of excellent quality and are by no means antiquated. They are still very viable playing cues as well as collectibles. I often suggest them as an alternative for people looking for a "new" cue. The lower end ones can still be had for a very nice price in good shape and will give even the most modern high tech cue a serious challenge. And they do it with a style and flair that can only be found in a true classic. I think playing with a cue like this really is classy.
I am confident it is a fine shooter and it is nice to see it in good shape. I hope it gets to see the table often as any real shooter should.
Thanks for showing off!
