Finally completed my set from Larry, sorry for my bad camera skills and inability to truly show the beauty of the wood in these cues, Jump cue is Maple and Purple Heart with a Purple Heart Shaft, Break Cue is Curly Maple and Curly Purple Heart with Curly Maple shaft with a break taper, and Playing Cue is Purple Heart, Curly Maple recuts and Wenge, with a Spanish bull wrap from jazzncues. I rarely post mostly just read and learn but with all the bad threads concerning experiences with cue makers I must say that working with Mr. Vigus is always a pleasure and a learning experience, he is always willing to explain all the processes involved in building my cues and give sneak peaks of works in progress, and seems to be suspiciously good at delivering my last two just in time for Christmas. Thank you Larry for the pleasurable experiences

Really nice cues. I have an ebony into amaranth Sugartree I love and asked Larry for something similar. He politely decline because there wasn't enough contrast between the 2 woods. I see you had better luck and its a beauty. Enjoy.

Thank you for the compliments, my luck with Larry is giving him my idea and letting him bring it to life with what he sees fit for the woods the only must have for the set was the Purple Heart and curly maple the rest was all him.
 
nice looking cues
Larry really does make great looking cues ,
but the play is what sets them apart

since he has a successful business,cue making is
only a hobby with him and sometimes it does seem difficult to
get a cue,

however I recommend trying again because it is really worth the wait

i have 2 now and love them both,but i am willing to sell one

again .nice cues
