I'm sorry if anyone had contacted me previously on this cue. I was a full time nursing student and just ended up not having anytime to spend on selling this cue. I will respond promptly to all pm's now. Thanks
This is a beautiful example of a John Davis blank, which was converted by Richard Phillippi. It is birds eye maple with goncalo alves points and handle, separated by black, red, green, and maple veneers. It has a black phenolic joint with 2 shafts, each with black phenolic. He did not sign the cue because he only signs the cues he make 100% of, and this is a conversion. The bumper screws off, and the cue can be used as a bumperless hoppe cue.
The finish on the butt is perfect. Somehow on the shafts where the finish is located there are these black marks(2-4 inches long), which I took a picture of in the last photo shown. It happened somehow from how I had them stored...I'm not really sure how it happened. The finish on the shafts would need to be redone by a cuemaker for them to be perfect, which is a fairly simple and cheap job.
Sold to TATE, thanks!! First to PM me "I'll take it" will get the cue.
Please no trades!!!!!!!!!
Specs:
Pin: 5/16x14 piloted
Shaft 1: 4.2 oz, 12.75 mm
Shaft 2: 3.7 oz, 12.75mm
Butt: 17.4 oz, 0.5 less without bumper

Flaws on shafts:
