heres a little advice. take it for what its worth. if you get in a spot to play a guy who will bet the moon and give up the nuts, and keep on playing, don't play for 20. make a date to play and bet a little more. or better yet lose that 20 and keep him for when you get that experience in the gambling department. play the guys you see everyday cheap. get a partner and go play the guy with all the cash. imagine the confidence and nerves you will get if ya take down a big score. the only way to win big is to bet big, unless it's the lottery

. also ya will get a bad name for one set. i don't mean go off but at least 2 barrels. i usually won't get in action unless i can fade 4 or 5 sets or games. it doesn't matter if it's 20 or 100. just my personnel thing. if ya win, picture this and i have seen it happen. guy gives ya a fifty for the first set and all you got is a 20. doesn't look good. will kill your action and give ya a bad name. just my 2 cents no go get that cash!! p.s i bet he will still give ya the same game.

One thing that i can tell you about gambling is the more you bet the tighter the pockets get.

Nope! And the last time I played him in a tournament on the loosers side race to 5 he beat me 3-5. So I knew not to bet with him yet. Shouldn't take too much longer before I am betting with him though. LOL
He has been wanting to gamble for a lot more cash than $20 though, and right now I can't afford to loose my shirt on a gamble that I doubt I would give him any compitition on. He is more experienced with gambling so he would take my money like taking candy from a baby!
I doubt he would even give me the 7 out.............but ya never know right? LOL

Ain't that the truth. Just remember that you're under no obligation to raise the bet when you're winning. If you have to leave at a certain time, let the other person know ahead of time and perhaps offer to let them play a double or nothing set. I don't buy into this "you have to play until you crap your pants in exhaustion" philosophy...but that's just me.
