First Player To Appear On TV

I've been doing a little digging on this and so far it appears to have been either Hoppe, Peterson, or Mosconi.

As of right now, the earliest solid evidence I have seen is an article from October 1948 showing images of Hoppe in front of TV cameras...

Anyone have further information?

(FYI I've also spoken with Mr. Ursitti about this very subject and he isn't positive either)

unfortunately the caption doesnt offer the name of a specific show or program...... although the network and station call letters are visible on the camera...
