First post on AZ: Mosconi Cup

No doubt you guys will give it your best effort.
It was nice talking to you in Indy and thanks
for the pointers. I hope to get to St. Louis before
you guys leave. If not GOOD LUCK.

Thanks, Carl

Ok, who typed this for you? Real pool players don't type that well lol j/k

Good luck and represent the US!!

Great post. Good luck, and go team USA.

I think the US has a good shot at taking it this year. Europe is tough, favorites on paper, but I think all the preparation and the general attitude of team USA will bring good results.

Usa

Enjoyed the Positive outlook your spreading Justin! I think Mark has an excellent plan to build a team concept, and will be rooting for all of you.

I have been reading some of the threads on here about the Mosconi Cup. We have lots of support meaning the U.S. Team. Europe is tough and we have definitely have to show up to win but we're far from being huge underdogs. IMO Darren Appleton is the best player for Team Europe but I also think we have the best player in the world right on our side SVB.

Mark Wilson: Probably knows more about the game than anyone on our team and has been playing longer than any of us have been alive. I know for fact every one on our team and even most top players respect his opinions on and off the table.

SVB: What can you say about him. Only the best rotation player in the world right now for my money.

Justin Hall: Derby City All Around Champion and almost won it back to back. Tons of heart and doesn't play all the big events and still wins more than his share. My boy we got way back since we were 10.

Corey Deuel: most experienced player on our team. I've played him a lot learned a lot just watching him. Sees shots top players don't even look at. Very creative. One of US top 9 ball players for a long time.

John Schmidt: Only ran 400 balls 3 times in straight pool. Like 5 people in history have done that. U.S. Open 9 ball winner. He's a great team player and gets along good with everyone on our team.

Me: I promise you all I am practicing playing tournaments trying to play tough games to be ready for this this year. I can guarantee you I want to win this as bad as anyone. I'll do whatever it takes to make sure I am 1000% ready to come time to play.

I think it's going to be the best Mosconi Cup yet. And the more support we have the more that's gonna fire us up. I GUARANTEE we will give 100%. Whatever happens happens but we don't think we're underdogs.

Thanks everyone that has our back we won't let you down. By the way this is Justin Bergman. Let's go USA!

This is the best first post on AzBilliards Discussion Forum that I have ever read. Well said, and congratulations, Mr. Bergman. :)

We're all rooting for you! I may be Team USA's biggest fan.

USA, all the way!

Best of luck Justin!. I'm confident you guys will perform great and represent yourselves in a professional manner. Like the Ryder Cup team at Valhalla, I also think it will be the two young guys that make the difference.

The team's positive attitude /mindset/teamwork is half battle won. Team USA chances just went up by 50% .

Welcome Justin. Nice to have another JB on the forum in addition to John Brumback who can really play. :-)

Good luck and good shooting at the Mosconi. It's going to be a great story this year and a pleasure to watch it unfold. I still have not watched a single game of last year's Cup and I am looking forward to watching all of them this year.

Nice post J-Berg.

I personally have not watched the M Cup the last few years.

But this year I am excited and will be watching.

Best of rolls to the USA team !!!!
