lol, in other words, nothing useful. Take your time, I'm sure most of us can wait for your next great revaluation of pool knowledge that consists of "If you're not sure you can make it, try hitting it real hard and maybe get lucky."

I'm going to have to re-read our bylaws (not a bad idea anyway) but we've always played home team picks the table here.

Isn't that the point of being "the home team"?

Our local bylaws state that the match table and balls (including CB) must be open to practice for the visiting team 30 mins prior to league start time, 730p. The home team has the table from 7p to 730p mins before start time.

If the visiting team arrives at 7p and starts practicing without the home team directing them to the intended table.... that table is the match table. Similarly, any ball switching must occur before 7p.
