This past weekend I picked up a cue for the first time in over 2 months. I had decided to give up on pool and try other things for a while so I sold my cues and didn't even think about pool. The reason behind this was it became too much like a job rather than something I enjoyed doing. Anyway, I goto my favorite place to play and find a good house cue and end up knocking off the weekly tourney beating a real good player twice in the finals after he had skunked me to send me to the losers bracket.
I had a blast playing and I remembered why I had gotten hooked on the game in the first place and now i'm hooked again and ready to start playing all the time. When your playing pool and having fun there aren't a lot of things better than that.
