A customer got this table at auction and there is small window to remove table or i would go and find out myself but does anyone know if this is a 1pc slate or 3? Most old Fischers i've seen are 1 pc slates but i have seen 3as well. Thanks

I'm guessing you mean a small window OF TIME to remove the table. The first time I read that, I took it literally. ;)

I am almost positive it is a single slate. Also found this listing for one.

Seattle FREE Fischer Questor Pool Table
Aug 21, 2010 ... We decided to give away our pool table set cuz it's too much hassle to move it its a Vintage Fischer Quester 8' full single 1 slate pool ...

a actual small window would be pretty funny but not a fun job.

Yea i am fairly positive its a 1pc slate. Doing it tomorrow i'll let u know. Customer said he is going to help as well. Can't wait:eek:

Might not even be slate... I've run into quite a few Fischer tables with marble... which can snap on you if you're not careful.

You do charge extra when customers "help" right? :yeah:

Especially helping move a 1-piece slate. People just don't realize how heavy the stuff is if you don't move it all the time. The only time Don and I have been hurt moving 1-piece slate tables was when we had "help". When you have people unfamiliar with the weight, and unfamiliar with each other, it can make for a dangerous situation. If the weight shifts just wrong, and you don't know what to expect from the guy on the other end of the slate, it's very easy to get twisted up. Besides the fact that I don't think my insurance would cover it if a customers "helps" drop a piece of slate. ;)
