Takes it all- Undefeated in winning her first Fl Semi Pro event in awhile. (edited)
Couldn't happen to a nicer person. She beat Tracie Hines in the finals- it may have been hill/hill. I am lil upset i had to miss the finals.

Interesting side note- Tracie drew Xiao Ting Pan in the first round for maybe the 4th time in five tournaments and defeated her again. She then had to play her again in the finals of the losers side and beat her again 7-5. Tracie after losing her initial match vs XTP 7-0 or 7-1 in February is now 5-1 in their last 6 meetings. I could be off by 1 on that but i doubt it. After disappearing for a while a still-in-stroke Veronique Menard took 3rd, XTP fourth.

Congrats to Debbie for the win and for Tracie's accomplishments. Both are great people!
 
Didn't have time to make it out to this one.
Big ups to all of my loves on this tour (Jeannie, Ming, Alex, the list goes on)... Don't know exactly what went down, but regardless, I'm proud of you all!

Debbie has been playing very well as of late. She has done very well in all of the Spirit Tour events this year, she played extremely well in the Regional Tour Championships (I remember telling Voodoo Daddy that Debbie would be the player to watch this year)

Debbie also had a match victory over Ga Young Kim at the WPBA Carolina Classic. This Spirit Tour win was eventual, and I bet it won't be her last Spirit Tour win of the year. Tracie Hines is also playing extremely well. So are Jessica Barnes, Stephanie Mitchell, Crystal McCormick, Vanessa Seaver, and Jeannie Seaver. There is a lot of depth in this tour, which is evident by the fact that XTP was not able to dominate the competition like she did the last time.

BTW, Nostroke it has been less than 5 yrs since Debbie's last victory... Debbie won a Spirit Tour Event in October of 2004 at Kiss Shot Billiards in Coral Springs. She defeated Joann Mason Parker in the final.

He did say that folks...no word of a lie there. She has been on the hunt the past 2 years and its good to see a nice person with dedication get where they strive to get!! Congrats to Debbie, the only woman player that can almost look me right in the eye, lol.

P.S...I see my former and current students made the $$$ too, not too shabby!!
 
way to go Too Tall! Coral Springs and DelRay, getting closer to a big finish in Hollywood at the HardRock. Congrats!
