Anyone have any results from the Florida Spirit Tour in Stuart, FL this weekend? Thank you. Johnnyt

I found the brackets on AZ. I see Monica and Helena came down to get one of the two Spirit stops they need to be able the play/rob in the final at Capones. Johnnyt

Hmmm Monica 1st...Helena 2nd...imagine that...w/o a gun too. Johnnyt

Is the Spirit Tour open to everyone? Some regional tours stipulate which pros can and cannot play-usually no top 12 WPBA or something to that sort...I guess that is a bit uncool:(

Not the Spirit tour...they have a different pro win every tournament. Johnnyt

Well, I wonder what the concensus of the tour members are - the ones who are not a pro and needs to win the qualifier:confused:

Off the subject, how is your book coming? You said it's almost finished. When can we see it? Can I sample a chapter?:D

The pros are allowed to play on our tour, but they half to pay double. I think that is cool because it puts more money in the prizefund. The prizefund was paid out 13th-16th. I don't mind that they come, how else would us locals have an opportunity to play with the pros.
As I looked around the room yesterday there were lots of big dogs, Debbie Shodt, Traci Hines, Jeannie Seaver, and of course, Monica and Helena. Our own Jessica Barnes went hill-hill with Helena first match. I also noticed that they were jittery right off the bat just like the rest of us--a little comforting, but, they both got up to speed quickly.
I am appreciative that Florida has such a great tour and we ladies have a place to compete.
Kudos to Heather, Roberta and to the room owners who support our tour.

You know, I was going to write a book about MY life and adventures, but the statue of limitations hasn't run out on most of them, so I've had to shelve the idea.

If it isn't broke, don't fix it

Thanks for the reply. I know the Spirit Tour has been sucessful for a long time and it's always packed with a tough field. I think I saw a similar thread some time ago and just wondered if the "Tour Members" had any complaints. Thanks for clearing it up.
