Hey Tony, Did you happen to watch the Earl/Mike match?

Never saw Mike play before but does he always clean his shaft with that bright white paper right in the line of sight of his opponent. And why does it take him so long to rack the balls? And he sure would not make it if there was a shot clock?

He is a great player but I wouldn't think that he would need to stoop to such cheap tricks.

Donnie Mills went on to beat Troy Frank 8-4 playing almost perfect. He then had to play Broumpton who lost a match to Davis who also played perfect. This was a match that realy got away from Richard, Richard missed a simple 10 ball to win the match. He went onto lose 8-7 which was painfull to watch.
Donnie will have his work cut out in the final.
As for davis, He is a very solid player that may take a long time to do a lot of things, However he does get the job done so I cant knock the guy in anyway.
He will tell you himself that he is not the most natural talented players out there but he makes up for it with his willl to win and a lot of hard work. he deserves everything he gets a very hard working honest guy.

Ps sorry i hgave not realy been upto date on things this weekend. My baby girl ( Kayla,20 months old) has had a cold,

Mike has a great sense of humor when it comes to his unorthodox stroke & anything else for that matter. Without a doubt, one of the nicest guys on the tour.

Tony, I hope your daughter starts to feel better soon. When is the addition supposed to be here?

jjinfla... as usual, you never fail to disappoint me. At times you can actually post something worth reading & that makes sense. As is the case most of the time, this is NOT one of those times. If you're not used to seeing Mike shoot that means two things... A)You have NOTHING to base your perception on (you know.. like a pattern...habit...that type of thing) and B) That you do not know Mike personally. I do know Mike personally and I've seen him shoot many times. You are WAY off base and way out of line for suggesting something like that on a public forum about someone that is in the public eye trying to make a name for himself, that you've never seen before. I've never noticed Mike playing slow but that's not to say that he hasn't. We all have had those days where we struggle to bear down & focus on our game to win. Please don't try to tell me that you could play in the semi finals or any match of a tournament full of pro's and be able to play lightening speed. These guys do pretty good under pressure but everyone has their days that they struggle with. Have you ever been to a pool room where the a/c didn't quite work very well & no matter what you did, you had problems with the shaft of your cue? Much like having an off day...this too can happen.
